Without it, you're still paying that same $284.88 for the shear, plus an average of $120/year in sharpening (3 visits at $40), bringing your real annual cost to $404.88. The Shear Exchange saves you over $120 a year and you never touch a dull blade.
Do I have to send my old shear back?
Yes. Every swap ships with a prepaid return envelope. You have 15 days from the day your new shear arrives to send the old one back. If we don't receive it within that window, you'll be charged $299 for the shear as an outright purchase.
How do swaps work?

Can I get more than my 2 included swaps a year?
Yes, extra swaps are $75 each.
Can I cancel anytime?
There's a 3-month minimum commitment on the plan, then you can cancel anytime after that.
What kind of steel are the shears made from?
Japanese 440C stainless steel.
Do the shears come with finger inserts?
Yes, finger inserts are included with every shear to help make sure your fingers fit perfectly for a comfortable, secure grip.
What if I'm left-handed?
Right-handed only for now, left-handed shears are coming as soon as stock allows.
